DW Trucking is North Alabama’s largest aggregate service. Whether trucking it in or hauling it off, we can handle all of your aggregate needs. We service residential and commercial accounts, and with a full fleet of tri-axle dump trucks and semi-dump trailers, no job is too big or too small.

Aggregate

Graded Aggregate Base (GAB)

  • a mixture of half M10 Manufactured Sand and half #57 Gravel
  • used primarily used as a base for driveways and other concrete pads.

Gravel #89

  • 1/8″ to 1/2″ gray gravel
  • used most often for walkways, drainage, and graveyard sites

Gravel #57

  • 1/2 to 3/4″ gray gravel
  • used most often for ditches and driveways

Gravel #4

  • 3/4″ to 1 1/2″ gray gravel
  • used most often as a driving surface for construction and logging entrances, and also driveways

Rip Rap

  • Large loose gray stone ranging from softball to basketball size
  • used for seawalls, fill, and to stop erosion

Dirt and Sand

Red Compactable Pad Dirt

  • Good “red dirt” as most people call it
  • Used for backfilling, grading, filling in holes or depressions, or adjusting ground elevations.

Top Soil

  • Top layer of soil filled with nutrients for growing
  • Most often used for lawns, gardening, flower beds or other growing applications

Fill Dirt

  • Much as the name implies, fill dirt is used to take up space when topsoil is not needed or is too expensive.
  • Used in non-growing applications like grading, backfilling or adjusting elevation

Sand

  • 3/4″ to 1 1/2″ gray gravel
  • used most often as a driving surface for construction and logging entrances, and also driveways
